hello!

My name is Alyssa Bain, and I’m an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer based out of Phoenix, AZ. I started a wedding photography company called Butterscotch Rose Photography with my sister back in Denver, CO in 2017; after five wedding seasons of business and so many amazing adventures, I am now living in Phoenix and am so excited to continue my photography journey as a solo photographer in this beautiful state!

I’ve performed as the lead photographer on hundreds of weddings over the course of 8+ years. I have well over 300 professional photography sessions in my experience toolbelt including commercial photography, family photography, event sessions, and so much more. I always say a good photographer is a little bit of a coordinator as well. Whether it’s advice on the best locations, getting the perfect candid shot, grabbing you a drink or helping you fix an untied shoelace, you can count on me for whatever you need!

A little bit about me: I live in Phoenix with my amazing husband Bill, our dog Winnie, and our cat Otto. I’m a lover of animals, food, yoga, eclectic music, crocheting, traveling, challenging hikes, and good books and movies.
